Abstract

A difficult time in my life prompted deep introspection that allowed for a change in the way I view the world. Thus, this writing is a dramatized version of my internal monologue and how it morphed with the occurrence of surprising events. As stressful as the thought can be, it’s just as pleasant to know that nothing will go according to plan. Time has a mind of its own and bending it to your will is a redundant task. What if life could change with this knowledge? This theme invokes contemplation of what could possibly transpire if you live within a mystery? Such fun could occur if one allows life to happen to them.

Author Biography

Saisha Raj

My name is Saisha Raj (she/her), I moved from Mumbai, India to Burnaby at the age of five where I attended school until coming to UBCO. I'm in the Health and Exercise Science program with hopes of becoming a doctor, though I try to maintain balance between science and art in order to feel well rounded. Crocheting and writing are my favourite outlets for creativity, and my favourite things to make as of now are good quality articles of clothing to combat fast fashion and the use of polyester or acrylic to be sold for high prices.
