Abstract

My name is Stephanie Awotwi-Pratt, and this submission is in conversation with the research project I conducted over the past summer of 2021. I am an undergraduate research award recipient and this piece outlines my methods and focus on how I engaged with my participant’s insights and stories. I have organized my paper into three major themes that helped me conduct trauma informed intersectional feminist approaches to qualitative in- depth interviews. The themes include trust, safe spaces, and ethics of care.
