Hair, Revolution, Black Lives Matter Movement, Protest, Natural Hair

This piece is a reflection on the protests and events of the Black Lives Matter Movement and the death of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor. I am closing the gap between my sense of self and the pressures and oppressive systems of institutional and systemic racism that affect how I position myself in the world.
